Както се вижда единствената разлика освен overclock е версията на Bluetooth на двата процесора. Очаква се новия процесор да бъде съсвсем скоро в новите модели на Motorola, iQOO, OPPO и XIoami. Очаква се техния дебют още през първата четвърт на 2021.
Остава открит въпроса, защо все пак пускат нов процесор, след премиерата на Snapdragon 888 в края на миналата година. Дали все пак няма някакви проблеми с него (някои източници споменават за прегряване). Само времето ще покаже каква е истинската причина.
